You Will Be Okay Without It

whatever it is
it will be
gone
tomorrow
and since
there is
no tomorrow
it is
already
gone
you
can not have it
what would happen if
you
simply
decided
to let go of it
since it is already letting go of
you
let go of
you
let go of
your things
let go of things
they are already
going
dusty pages
yellowed
hard drive
crashing
memory loss
insanity
aging
breathless running
love is not having
having is not love
not love is having
is having love not?
having not love is
simply
true
without
is with
within
is with
here
inside
is the witness
is the voice
that says
you will be okay
without
having
this
without
having
this
body
without
having
this
thought
without
having
this
mind
without
having
this
car
without
having
this
marriage
this
partner
this
life
you
will
be
ok
without
it.

Thank you for this blessing! I will remember this and the beautiful way you said what I needed to hear just now.

The Sun
Have you ever seen
anything
in your life
more wonderful
than the way the sun,
every evening,
relaxed and easy,
floats toward the horizon
and into the clouds or the hills,
or the rumpled sea,
and is gone–
and how it slides again
out of the blackness,
every morning,
on the other side of the world,
like a red flower
streaming upward on its heavenly oils,
say, on a morning in early summer,
at its perfect imperial distance–
and have you ever felt for anything
such wild love–
do you think there is anywhere, in any language,
a word billowing enough
for the pleasure
that fills you,
as the sun
reaches out,
as it warms you
as you stand there,
empty-handed…

I sort of float into your poem - finding myself on one of this mountaintops in your picture. And my thought is; this is my place and it is enough !! I have this view outwards to the Gods nature and my urge to get to the next top is silenced. The deepest within me touches the profound meaning in my life. I feel tired but satisfied and I have learned that having things that not stays with me is an inconstant satisfaction. The real wonder is the joy of just being in this beautiful scenery and float on into new adventures when they come, wherever they may lead me. Thank you for taking me with you on this travel in mind….
